Good product design is often measured by its performance, innovative features, or strong energy efficiency. This, of course is paramount, in fact Samsung has built quite a reputation for designing and building the most innovative and reliable air conditioning units on the market. But Samsung believes good product design should also fulfil one other important function, to fit neatly and seamlessly into our customers environment and way of life.

It is this belief that has led Samsung to create a whole range of air conditioning solutions for a wide range of applications, from large skyscrapers to commercial offices and residential homes. Each one designed specifically to work perfectly in the space is installed and enhances the environment the customers work and live in.

Samsung has a reputation for producing innovative and technologically advanced systems that challenge the industry norm. The AR series is a great example of how Samsung approached a design problem. Samsung wanted to create a significantly more powerful unit, without significantly adding to its size, allowing the customers to enjoy the performance of a large system without having to install one.

The answer was a clever triangular design that allows for a wider inlet and outlet, which has the ability to circulate air faster by 26%, farther by up to 14 meters and wider by as much as twice the width. This triangular design also opens the blade up-ward, which we at Samsung Tomorrow explained how cool air is reached to the users wherever they are.
