[Video] Our Lives Have Changed. But the Games Must Go On.
From the crack of a bat to the smell of a freshly mowed field, there are so many things that we love about baseball – and so many things that we’ve missed since the pandemic brought the sports world to a standstill.
Recently, the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) gave people around the world something to cheer for by becoming one of the first sports leagues to get back to playing ball. With thorough cleaning protocols in place to protect the health and safety of players and staff, the KBO has been back in action for more than a month now. Unfortunately, however, teams have been forced to press on without the most important element of all: the millions of die-hard fans that make this league so special.
Captured using the Galaxy S20 Ultra and narrated by MLB star and former NC Dinos first baseman Eric Thames, the video below spotlights how KBO teams are adjusting to this era of crowdless games, and giving people hope for an eventual return to normal life.
