Samsung Electronics U.K. has revealed that Northern Ireland is set to become the U.K.’s “Silicon Valley,” with 77% of young people there looking to pursue a career in technology, compared to 69% in London. Nearly two-thirds (60%) of young people are considering tech careers across the U.K., with the cities of Coventry (79%), Cambridge (76%) and Birmingham (71%) emerging as hotbeds for future innovators. These findings were released by Samsung U.K. to mark the launch of its fifth local Solve for Tomorrow competition, which aims to support young British innovators nationwide.
