Samsung Electronics America has announced 50 schools as State Winners of the 14th annual Samsung Solve for Tomorrow national STEM competition. Each winning school has earned a Samsung technology prize package worth $12,000. These Gen Z innovators are now moving forward in their quest to be named one of three National Winners that would unlock $100,000 each for their school. Overall, Samsung will award more than $2 million in prizes to this year’s participating schools.

In 2023, Samsung Electronics’ soundbars took 33.4% of the market share in the Netherlands, sealing the #1 position marking a historic milestone for the company. In terms of number of units sold, Samsung has been leading the market in the country for four years. For more than 1 in 4 TV’s sold, Dutch users buy an accompanying soundbar and increasingly it is a Samsung soundbar with Q-symphony. The Galaxy S24 series has secured more than 250,000 orders in India in just three days since pre-bookings opened on January 18. Samsung India had previously secured the same amount of pre-bookings for the preceding Galaxy S23 series over three weeks. “The huge success of the Galaxy S24 series demonstrates that Indian consumers are early adopters of new technology,” said Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, MX Business, Samsung India.
